Nested in New Brunswick Canada, built in 1859, Lincluden Cottage stands proud on it’s 2.5 acre lot. Majestic trees provide a park like setting with a deer fence surrounding the gardens. Instantly, I fell in love with “this old house” and knew I wanted to renovate and move in! It was a crazy decision (requiring much convincing on my part) to take on a renovation of this proportion to a 157 year old house! Although, owning an historic home is high maintenance, I would say, it’s TOTALLY worth it!
So for any of you out there, who share the same passion as I do, love vintage homes, interior decorating, renovating and creating a beautiful space, THIS blog is for you! After all the time, energy and love invested in our home, it’s rewarding for me to share my big ongoing project, “Lincluden Cottage” with whomever comes across this Blog. My hope is to inspire, support and encourage anyone considering renovating an old house! I would say “GO FOR IT”!
