Hello! I am thrilled to take part in the Summer tablescape challenge hosted by Katherine at Katherine’s Corner! To celebrate Summer, I hosted a ladies luncheon. It was the perfect day to enjoy the beautiful weather, yummy treats and my lovely friends.
Come take a peek!
The plates are Fitz and Floyd, napkins HomeSense and the placemats, pink depression glasses and napkin rings are from Pier One. You can source these products directly from my Easter table setting on my blog!
Another view of the table with my old yellow house as the backdrop.
For this luncheon, with my husband’s help, moved our table to the front yard creating the perfect garden setting.
Cucumber and watermelon goat cheese cups are easy to prepare but look fancy.
I prepared cucumber sandwiches. Perfect for a light lunch in the garden!
The sandwiches are easy to make! I purchased crustless bread from the Superstore making assembly so quick and simple. Next, I cut the cucumbers thinly. The secret to my sandwiches is whipped chive cream cheese instead of the regular kind.
The table is set! I have used this table setting many times before, but moving the location of the table created a new Summer setting! No need to purchase new dishes, changing the centre piece, table cloth or table, creates a totally different look.
Time to enjoy!
Cheers to beautiful Summer days, good friends and chilled wine!
Thank you so much for visiting me today! I hope you visit all the beautiful blogs participating in the Summer Tablescape Challenge!
