Canadian Thanksgiving is special this year as we are hosting a turkey dinner. Although we have lived in New Brunswick for many years, not having family close by can be lonely at times. This year, we are thankful and blessed to have great neighbours to celebrate with!!!
Instead of my china sitting in the cabinet I decided to create a silver and white table for our special feast! My new chargers found online at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012IBYHAM/#_swftext_Swf add another layer of sparkle to the silver rimmed china.
The votive candles are from the Super store! Three dollars each! When you pair inexpensive decor with some higher end dishes, it all looks fancy! 😉 I am very pleased with the silver napkin holders are from Pier One. They didn’t break the bank, but look and feel high end.
I placed small white pumpkins in each salad bowl. A fun way to bring the Fall theme into the table setting!
Centre pieces made with white roses, small pumpkins and greenery are just right for the setting. I did not want to make a centre piece that was too high. It was easy to make!
Have you ever sat at a table while talking to the person across from you, you were having a conversation with the centre piece instead? Keep your centre piece low to avoid guests being blocked from each other! 😉 Unless you have two guest sitting across from each other that don’t particularly get along! In that case, go high!!! LOL
A close up look.
Simple and elegant.
Thank you for visiting today!
